Has the Lord Been Speaking?

Have you ever heard of what an oracle is? It is a phenomenon where God is speaking but not directly to people who have rejected Him. If a person has been able to understand that the Lord is communicating to him through an oracle, he ought to repent as soon as possible for the Lord to thwart the enemy’s attack upon him. This is because he has constantly been rejecting the Lord prior. When such a person repents, he starts on a journey of hope. How does the Lord speak to people who have rejected Him using oracles? If you have been approached by a prophet, it is one of the ways that the Lord speaks to people through oracles. Why is a prophet an oracle? It is because the Lord sends prophets to places or people that have failed to directly listen to His voice. If a prophet is in your vicinity, go and ask the Lord to forgive you for your sin or the sin of your forefathers. Prophets are usually sent by the Lord to people who have been warned over and over again about God's wrath on a place or a people.

Are You Rejecting the Lord?

If a person continues rejecting the Lord, He will condemn him so that he may not even be able to receive oracles. At that stage, that person is free; he will not be attacked by the enemy. Why? It is because the enemy will not attack those that are his! He will not attack a person who is doing his will; Mark 3:25: “And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand”. A person who has reached this stage may think that all is well. He may even start prospering as a result of doing the enemy’s will. The enemy will then give him gifts to enable him to concentrate on doing his will. What are some of the gifts that the enemy gives a person for doing his will? If a person is distracted to continue doing the enemy’s will, that person will obey the enemy as though he is obeying the Lord. In turn, the enemy will reward him for his obedience to him. How does the enemy reward? His rewards are often short-lived. Why? This is because he steals gifts from people that are disobedient to the Lord to reward his own. How does the enemy steal these gifts? If you are living in disobedience to the Lord, He will not protect the gifts which you have been given from God. The gifts which are from God are the gifts that you received at birth. They are the gifts that you may not even recognize as gifts like beauty, wisdom, health, love, peace, children, marriage, home, grandchildren, humility, leadership, and wealth. People who have lost these gifts are the ones whom the enemy has stolen from and given to people who are doing his will.

What Rejecting the Lord Will Cause You to Lose

The enemy will always entice a person whose gifts he wants to steal to disobey the Lord for him to be able to steal those gifts. This is what happened in the garden of Eden. The enemy enticed Eve to acquire forbidden knowledge for him to be able to acquire Adam’s birthright. It is this stolen birthright that the Lord restored by shedding his blood on the cross at calvary. Death is a consequence of the sin that Adam committed in the garden. It is the reason why after the original sin, the enemy was able to come into the presence of God just like Adam had been able to. If Adam had not lost his birthright to the enemy, we all would not have to face death.
