Why You Should Not Allow the Enemy to Steal Your Birthright
If a person has lost his birthright, he is only able to receive back after the Lord has sent him to people who have a birthright that they received from the enemy. A birthright is not supposed to be received by a person who has the enemy's lineage. If a person who has the enemy's lineage receives a birthright that is from God, he will not use it to glorify God. A birthright that is from God is not supposed to be used for the purposes of destroying what God has built. If a person received a birthright which was stolen by the enemy, he will have to use it against God's purposes. What are some instances where a person is able to destroy what God has built with a stolen birthright? If a person is a leader, he may use such a birthright to oppress people that are in God's will. It does not mean that every wicked leader is in possession of a stolen birthright. If a leader oppresses people who are blessed, he is not doing God's will. How is the enemy able to steal a birthright from God? If a person who possesses a birthright from God is not living in God's will, he will be tricked by the enemy to lose his birthright. Adam was tricked by the serpent to lose his birthright by partaking of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. He gave the enemy the right to come to the presence of God just like he was able to. This birthright was only restored by the blood of Jesus 2000 years ago!
How to Protect a Birthright That is From God
A person who has received his birthright from God is able to stay in His presence easier than a person who has not yet received his birthright from God. When a person receives his birthright, he will have to continue in God’s will. A person who has received his birthright from God and has rejected to abide in Him will lose his birthright and will not be able to get it back. A person who once had a birthright and lost it has not been in God’s presence for him to know how to protect his birthright. If I lose my birthright, who receives it? If you lose your birthright, it is stolen by the enemy and given to people whom the enemy has blessed. If you are asking: how does the Lord restore a stolen birthright? Know that it happens on a continuous basis. A person whose birthright has been stolen will often be sent by the Lord to a place where he will have his birthright restored. The Gibeonites were a people who deceived Joshua to become part of the inheritance of Israel. They became part of Israel to this very day rather than be wiped out as the Lord had commanded Moses.
When the Gibeonites were allowed to live, they were made slaves for the whole of Israel. A curse can only run for four generations. After the fourth generation, these Gibeonites were freemen according to the commands that the Lord gave to Moses for Israel. If you have been thinking that there are still Gibeonites who are slaves to the children of Israel to this day, you are deceived. They are recognized as Israelites by the Lord and by man. The curse that Joshua pronounced upon them ended after only 160 years. They are now part of the Lord’s inheritance for Israel.
Joshua was not able to listen to God as Moses. He did not have a mantle that was at the level of the mantle that Moses had. A mantle is a set of prophetic gifts that God blesses a prophet with. If Joshua had been able to receive the mantle that Moses had, Israel would not have been able to spare the Gibeonites.
How You Should Use Your Birthright
A person who has received a birthright from God is supposed to start living in God's presence for his birthright to be of any benefit. If you have a birthright from God, do not start living like a cursed person. If you are asking: how does a cursed person live? He lives like as though God is not the Lord in his life. A cursed person will start using his birthright to accumulate wealth rather than do God's will. A birthright that is from God has a gift of wealth packaged in it! If a person starts accumulating wealth without God's purpose, he will be distracted by the wealth that is in his birthright. A person who has decided that he should seek God first will acquire wealth that will not be destroyed by God.
