Who is a Bishop?

Updated: Jul 2, 2019

Why The Angels of God Always Surround a Bishop

A bishop is a person who has been in the Lord’s presence for long and in God’s presence for a longer period of time than a man of God. A bishop is not a person who is able to stay in a cursed place for long. When a bishop is in a place, it is surrounded by the angels of God because of the power of the Holy Ghost that is in and upon him. If a bishop is a worshipper of God, he will have the power of the Holy Ghost upon him at a greater measure all the time. If a bishop is in a place of worship, that place is going to be blessed by God. A person who is in a place that has a bishop will be blessed by God if he is in His will. If he is not in God’s will, he will be cursed by the Lord. Does it mean that people who are cursed should avoid bishops so that they do not acquire more curses? If a person is cursed, he will acquire more curses as a result of being in a place where a bishop is present. If he lives near a bishop, the place will become a blessed place. If a bishop lives in a cursed place, it will eventually be blessed. If a bishop goes to a cursed place outside God’s will, he has sinned against God and will lose the power of the Holy Ghost upon him. Does that mean that a bishop is not supposed to go to some places that inhabit cursed spirits like markets or parks? Yes and no! If a bishop goes to a market to purchase food, he has not sinned against the Lord, if he goes to a market so that that market may become a blessed place, he has acted outside God’s will; that market will not become a blessed place.

Why God Will Bless a Place Where a Bishop Has Lived

When a bishop has been in a cursed place for a long time, it will stop inhabiting cursed spirits as the bishop continues staying there. If he is in a place that has been cursed by the Lord, it will be blessed by God as a result of a bishop's presence. A bishop is a person who is able to stay in a cursed place until it is blessed by God. A bishop is blessed to stay only in blessed places after he has stayed in a cursed place that God has blessed. If a bishop goes to a cursed place, cursed spirits will flee that place and can only come back after he leaves. If he has lived in a cursed place for long, cursed spirits will eventually relocate from there because of the power of the Holy Ghost that is upon a bishop. When cursed spirits relocate from a place, does it automatically become blessed? If such a place was cursed by God, it will not be blessed until God causes a bishop to live there. If a bishop goes to live in a place at the time a curse has been mentioned there, it will still be blessed by God. If a bishop decided to live in a cursed place yet the time for the curse upon that place to be lifted has not yet come, that bishop has gone to stay in that place outside God’s will.

Why Cursed Spirits Will Flee a Place Where a Bishop is

When a bishop has stayed in a place and it has become blessed by God, he will be rewarded by God for having enabled Him to bless that place. A bishop who has endured a cursed place until a time when God is able to bless such a place is rewarded with wealth which is from the place he has suffered from. If he was in a place that was not wealthy, he will still be rewarded with wealth from the people who live in that place. If such a place does not have wealthy people, a bishop will be rewarded by God from the blessed people in that place who are living in God's will. How will God reward a bishop with wealth from a cursed place? If he has endured a place that was cursed, he will reap from the wealth of the cursed people in that place. They will lose wealth as the bishop gains wealth in ways that are only known by God and revealed to that bishop if he so wishes to know. Does it mean that the cursed people in that place will lose all they have? Yes, they will lose their wealth because that place has changed hands from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of heaven. Such a place is now blessed and will not accept cursed people to find peace in it. They will have to relocate to other places that can accommodate them. What compels cursed people to relocate from a place where a bishop is resident? If a bishop is in a place, he has the angels of God surrounding him. Cursed spirits will become agitated and cause everyone who is from the enemy to equally become uncomfortable. For instance, if a bishop suddenly started living in a cursed place, some cursed people may start falling sick, becoming dizzy, sleepy, weak, or maybe attacked by cursed spirits that want them to leave. Why would cursed spirits attack people who are in a place that has a bishop resident? they do not want cursed people to be free from bondage that is as a result of their sin. If a bishop stays for a long time in a place, the cursed spirits there will oppress cursed people resident there until they relocate. If they choose to stay, they will have to repent to find peace in that place. If you think that you can be able to know who a bishop is by physical appearance, education, or public status, you will be surprised to learn that it is only God and a bishop who may know who a bishop is. A bishop is not a clergyman, a priest, or a reverend. He is anointed by God and not a man. He is a person who has been tested and tried by God for the purpose of administration in the office of the Bishop. God is the Bishop.
