What I Thought I Would Achieve
When I was in the world, I thought that I would excel in being a good designer. I learnt how to design for print and excelled in that field. However, I realized that it was not enough for me to continue working as a designer for other people. I wanted to work on my own. I started searching for ways of earning income outside my profession. I started concentrating on how to become a successful businessman. This led me to begin reading about geniuses like: Rockefeller, Ford, and Carnegie, I started to think that I too could become like them. Have you ever had such ambition? One of my favorite genius was Henry Ford. I wondered: How did he acquire such knowledge? To me he was so brilliant! I have been able to understand that some of these geniuses acquire knowledge from sources that are cursed. If you thought that people who are rich are also wealthy, you will be surprised to learn that it is the contrary. When I realized that I could not make it like the geniuses I was reading about, I concentrated on things to do with deliverance. I gathered books on topics of deliverance.
The Lord Is Always Speaking!
I learnt that the Lord is always speaking to people on a continuous basis. Have you ever heard the Lord speak? I was one of the people who thought it was something that only a special type of people were privileged to experience. When I heard the Lord speak through me, I thought I had heard a cursed spirit speak through me. I was dumbfounded and went on a quest for knowledge concerning ways in which the Lord speaks. I was able to confirm that indeed, the Lord had spoken to me. I was told by three pastors who did not know each other that indeed it was the Lord’s voice. I was able to start on my journey from that time hence.
My Experience
I am going to give you my experience so that you too will learn how to hear the Lord speak. I was led into the prophetic realm by Jesus. He is the Prophet and is training prophets for His second coming. Have you ever asked yourself: who is a prophet? I have asked myself that question so many times. It is the Lord who keeps answering my questions for me. I had no idea who a prophet was until the Lord called me to be one. So that you too can be able to go through your own experience with the Lord. Have you ever desired to hear the Lord speak? If you have, get ready to complete journey that God is going to take you to. I have been enabled by the Lord to walk a journey that is oppressive to the enemy. If you ask: how can I start on a journey which will see me experience the Lord? You are going to need knowledge. If set out to seek the Lord without knowledge, you have decided fail even before you begin! If you are in a situation where you are in need of hope, know that it is now that you should seek the Lord with knowledge. How can you acquire knowledge to be able to seek the Lord? You need to ask the Lord Himself for that knowledge. If you thought that I will give you a step by step guide where and how to acquire that knowledge, know now that it is not my duty to give you a template of dos and don’ts. Everyone is unique before the Lord. If I tell you that I have been seeking the Lord constantly for years, you might get discouraged. However, there are people who do not need to wait for long to experience God. Immediately they start, Boom! They are in the Lord’s presence. It depends on so many factors that you might not know of and which knowledge can only come from the Lord Himself. I have experienced an encounter that I have written about in my book titled: “Prophetic Encounters in God”. If you think that you will also receive such an encounter, you are deceiving yourself. The Lord speaks to people according to what their environments portray. If you are in state of lack, you will most often hear the Lord speak to you about hope! If you are in a state of confusion, you will probably hear the Lord speak to you about the need to wait. If you are in a state of anxiety, you too will usually hear the Lord speak to you about waiting. While you may be asking yourself: how will I know when the Lord is speaking? You will need to have faith. If a person has some faith, it is enough for the Lord to begin His work in you. You don’t need to go and look for a 'big man of God' somewhere in a far off country to hear the Lord speak to you through that man. The Lord has commissioned me to guide people who thirst for Him to find Him.
