How I Am Living in God’s Presence

Updated: Jul 2, 2019

Where is God's Presence?

When I hear of believers who are always in the world, I ask myself: How do they get instructions on what to do? I have been in God’s presence for over two and a half years. It is a subject that most believers acknowledge is not practical. How do believers who are always in God’s presence live? They live normal lives. The only difference is that they are able to be in constant communion with God all the time! It does not matter whether they are traveling on the bus back home, walking down the street, seated in the church pew, or in the school premises. Some people may ask: how can someone stay in God’s presence even without praying? If you think that prayer only involves going to a place that is quiet to ask for God's help; know that it is not all! Yes, you can go and seek God in a quiet place but you will need to stay in God’s presence if you want to be in communion with Him. If you decide to stay in God’s presence, you have to ask yourself: what will I bring to God’s table? He is not going to accept you to be a harlot. A harlot is a person who ascribes to both the kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness. It is a way of life that most Christians have embraced and are living. They are neither for God nor for the enemy! They are always interested in how to benefit from both God and the enemy.

What is the Cost of Being in God's Presence?

If a person has been involved in doing the enemy’s will, he will have to distance himself from any connections which may lead him back to the enemy. These connections may involve people that he calls friends, family or close relations. They are usually the ones that the enemy can use to distract a person into doubting God. If I had not distanced myself from my close associations when the Lord called me, I would never have been able to constantly be in God’s presence. I did not know that when a person is in God’s presence, he is not able to be ensnared by the traps of the enemy. If you decide to enter into God’s presence, you will not be prone to the traps that the enemy may have designed for you. I have witnessed how the enemy is able to discourage a person who has been called by God to enter His presence. The enemy will constantly distract you with opportunities that may seem more beneficial to you at the time of God’s calling. I was told by God to go live and pray in an abandoned house, I asked myself: why has God designed for me to stay in such a cursed place? I did not know that God had willed for me to stay in a place that did not have any comfort.

bondages and curses
Associations that are from the enemy should be broken so that they do not cause you to doubt what God is saying to a person who is desirous of being in His presence.

It was a house that had been condemned by God because of the practice of magic that had taken place there. What happens when magic has been practiced in a house? Such a house becomes condemned by God for eternity. It can only be blessed if a prophet lives in that house! A prophet will always be sent to cursed places to warn the people in such a place that their sin is before the Lord! If a prophet is in your midst, it is usually a warning that God intends to judge that place! A prophet is usually not welcome to a place that is cursed. The cursed spirits in that place become agitated and will expeditiously work to ensure that a prophet leaves them in peace. They will ensure that a prophet is mocked in such a place. Why does the Lord allow a prophet to be mocked in such a place? If a prophet is not mocked in a cursed place, he will probably not grow to maturity and enter God's presence. What about if a person is desirous of entering into God’s presence without being mocked? If a person is desirous of God’s presence and is not a prophet, he is able to enter God’s presence without being mocked. It is a prophet’s call to be mocked at least once after he has been called by the Lord to be a prophet so that he can have a testimony to live by. If you have been called to be a prophet and are worrisome of being mocked, know that you will not become a prophet until you have been mocked by the enemy.

Will the Enemy Persecute a Person Who is Living in God's Presence?

When I was in that abandoned house, I was attacked by 3 youths who hacked and wounded me. I received stitches on my head and palms as a result of that attack. I did not have knowledge at that time to why I had been attacked without any logical cause. I later learned that I was in the enemy’s territory.

prayer time
It was God's will for me to go and pray from an abandoned house.

I was supposed to have accepted God’s call upon my life earlier but had been involved in doing the enemy's will. At that time, I was distracted by a lot of misfortunes in my life. I had just lost a business that I had invested my all in. I did not know that God did not want me to indulge myself in any form of commercial activity! If you ask: are there no prophets who earn commercially? It is the same question that I asked the Lord when He told me to stop working for money. I did not have any idea of how I was supposed to live. I have been provided for by God out of His abundance since the time He called me. When a person asks: how will a prophet who has not accepted God’s call know that he has been called to be a prophet? He will always be told by the Holy Spirit who he is. If he does not listen the first time, he will constantly be reminded by the Holy Spirit who he is supposed to be if he accepts God’s call. If I had accepted God’s call upon my life immediately, I would have been a bishop earlier. A bishop is a person who has undergone the trials of a prophet and has been tested by God and overcome all the persecutions that the enemy has laid out for him. It does not mean that every bishop is a prophet. A bishop can be anyone who has gone through a period of isolation with the Lord and has been tested by God to distance him from the enemy entirely.
